HDSA Membership Plans

Sign up to become an HDSA member and enjoy the benefits! Membership is open to downtown businesses, PBIA contributors, property owners, business neighbors, community partners, and Friends of Snohomish. As a PBIA contributor, your assessment by the City of Snohomish is reinvested directly into downtown— learn more below about how this supports our community and why it entitles you to HDSA membership. 


Business membership is designed for business owners who are located within the downtown historic district. If your business is located just outside the district, you are also eligible for membership as a "Good Neighbor". Please refer to the "Good Neighbor" pricing when selecting your membership level. Not sure if you are in the district or not? Reference this map to find out!

If you are not affiliated with a business, community organization,  or non-profit, you can still experience the benefits of membership as a "Friend of HDSA". This sustaining membership gets you insider deals and discounts on all HDSA events like the Wine Walks, Pride, and Winterfest! Support the preservation of downtown Snohomish and enjoy the rewards!

Your PBIA Dollars Working For YOU

The Historic Downtown Snohomish Association (HDSA) works in partnership with the City of Snohomish to reinvest Parking and Business Improvement Area (PBIA) funds directly into our historic downtown. These funds, though a small portion of our overall budget, allow us to provide a significant return on investment by making downtown a vibrant and thriving place for businesses to operate.

Through the PBIA, HDSA enhances the downtown experience by:

  • Beautifying public spaces with decorations, landscaping, and maintenance

  • Hosting and promoting events that drive foot traffic to businesses

  • Supporting safety and security measures in shared areas

  • Providing professional management and stewardship of the downtown district

  • Strategic marketing to promote downtown Snohomish as a destination and attract customers

  • Business advocacy to represent and support the interests of local businesses

  • Economic development efforts to drive growth and sustainability for downtown retailers
     

As a PBIA contributor, you automatically receive a basic HDSA membership (Pioneer Club) at no additional cost - you just need to register. This membership connects you to valuable resources, networking opportunities, and marketing support to help your business thrive. Additionally, this partnership can help the City support the Main Street Tax Credit Incentive Program (MSTCIP), ensuring that funds contribute directly to downtown’s continued growth and prosperity.
